Current Mode Amplifier

CMA600i, with Questyle Audio's patented "Current Mode Amplification" technology applied and discrete structure designed in, working in pure Class A state, produces ultra-low distortion level at 0.00042% and ultra-wide frequency response up to DC-600kHz(+0,-3dB). The impressive technical performance together with warm and powerful sound make CMA600i capable to challenge all high-end headphone amplifiers that cost more!

Featuring a 4-PIN full-balanced XLR output and dual 6.35mm standard headphone jacks, as well as four groups of pure Class A Current Mode Amplifiers, CMA600i can drive headphones in full-balanced mode, doubling the output voltage, quadrupling the output power against that of single-ended mode. It can easily drive headphones of high impedance and low sensitivity rating.

CMA600i uses the AK4490 DAC chipset. Different from other DAC chipsets served with voltage of 5V, CMA600i feeds AK4490 via a specially designed and independent regulator with ultra-high voltage of +/-7V, ensuring outstanding dynamic range of CMA600i's DAC section. Inheriting Questyle's 3x Clock Asynchronous Structure, together with AKM flagship chipset AK4490, CMA600i can dig out more details buried deep in tracks.

CMA600i's USB port supports 44.1K-384K/16-32Bit PCM, native DSD64, DSD128, DSD256, and DoP64, DoP128, as well as optical and SPDIF inputs up to 192kHz/24Bit.

CMA600i inherits Questyle Audio's patented "True DSD" technology. It directly processes native DSD data from PC and its hardware offers a True DSD channel, which ensures the signal processing is done under the original DSD format and strictly follows the standard processing of SACD playback. CMA600i is also compatible with DoP converting, which is very convenient for Mac users.

CMA600i supports RCA and XLR pre-amp outputs. RCA pre-amp output level is up to 4Vrms, and XLR up to 8Vrms, which can meet the requirements of most power amplifiers for output level. Volume control employs an ALPS potentiometer working in analog mode only, supporting remote control. It is convenient for users of high-end active speakers.

Each CMA600i is invested 72 hours burning-in before shipping and is tested twice by Audio Precision AP2722, then has its testing report filled.

Every testing report is unique and has two copies. One is put in the product packing box for customer, and another is kept in a safety box at Questyle to aid in following up and maintaining.
