Stasis Groove Cleaner Brush

The typical LP carries grooves that are about half a mile long. Imagine the damage being done to your vinyl record and stylus needle, if small amounts of dirt gets dragged and scraped over half a mile of grooves. Vinyl records need to be cleaned carefully. Pristine records not only sound better, they also last longer and reduce stylus wear.

Wet Cleaning Comes First!

It goes without saying that pre-owned vinyls require thorough wet cleaning before being played. However, many people don’t realize that brand new records also need thorough wet cleaning before playing. This is because they come coated with release agents from the pressing process.

Wet cleaning gives 3 main benefits:

  1. Wet cleaning gets deep inside the grooves of a vinyl record to remove compacted and stubborn dirt and grime.
  2. Wet cleaning washes away grease and oils that dirt and dust loves to stick to.
  3. Wet cleaning removes static charge. A record that is charged with static will attract dust particles in the immediate vicinity.

Hear The Difference!

Specifically designed for wet scrubbing – An indispensable tool that bridges the gap between carbon fiber dry brushes and record cleaning machines (RCMs).

Cleans where it really matters – Ultra-fine (50 micron) bristles specifically designed to fit inside record grooves.

Stands up to repeated use – Chemically inert nylon bristles safe for use with all cleaning fluids.

Awesome cleaning power – High-density bristle clusters & high bristle count scrubs record grooves with authority and power.

Highly recommended with our TTVJ Vinyl Zyme and a record cleaning machine OR used with Stasis Ninja Clean Towels!

Stasis groove cleaner brush
A very nice brush & gets the record clean. But my only complaint is it’s about 3/4 to long.If you’re not paying attention the cleaning fluid will push off the record or on the label.Anyway a good brush and a Great seller.

Great product & service
I’m constantly trying to improve my LP cleaning techniques and was looking for a better brush. This item caught my eye mainly because of the material used. I use it with my RCM & it does a great job. My order was processed quickly and shipped right away. Great experience! Recommended!

Good Performer
I purchased both the Original and the new Mark 2 versions of the Stasis Groove Cleaner. The Mark 1 Stasis record Brush does a good job but I personally prefer the Mark 2 version because it's very fine cleaning fibres are firmer, and I suspect slightly better at cleaning out the record grooves. Surely this is why Stasis have introduced the Mark 2 version?

Cleaning Brush
These are perfect for the rinse. The bristles are softer than the VPI brush, but perfect for the rinse following wash.

Stasis Brush
Really nice brush that's light weight with no sharp wooden/metal corners to damage a record with. The bristles are medium soft and you can feel the tips riding inside the groove providing confidence that the brush is getting way down in the record. Very nice quality brush. I ordered two: One for cleaning and one for rinsing on my VPI 16.5.
