Great stuff! I use it as a pre-cleaner for my records. Most of the dirt is already gone after this first step. New records only need an ultrasonic rinse after that.

One of the best step-up transformers I've ever had the pleasure to use. Anything I've heard "better" is also many multiples of the Quadratic MC-1's price.

The MC-1 pairs wonderfully with a wide variety of phono cartridges -- Hana Umami Blue, Koetsu Black Goldline, Lyra Kleos mono, Dynavector XV1-S and the ability to select high and low gain allows fine-tuning gain and cartridge load for best performance. Very pleased with this transformer. TTVJ's loaner program allowed me to thoroughly trial this SUT before making the decision to buy one. Which I did!
