Kuzma phono cartridges are low‑output moving‑coil designs that pair precision engineering with a deliberately synergistic relationship to Kuzma’s own tonearms and turntables. The CAR-20H is the exception being a high output MC Cartridge.

The CAR series uses heavily machined aluminum and brass bodies to create a rigid, inert platform that minimizes unwanted resonance and lets the diamond tip trace the groove with high accuracy and low distortion. Models such as the CAR‑30, CAR‑40, CAR‑50, and diamond‑cantilever CAR‑70 progressively refine materials (boron, then diamond cantilevers, micro‑ridge styli) and build quality, delivering extended bandwidth, excellent channel balance, and controlled tracking force around 2.0–2.1 g.
